Obituary of Dolores Ledesma Bravo

Dolores Ledesma Bravo of Salinas, California on March 1st, 2023 at 11:50 pm passed away. She was 68 years old and was surrounded by her family. 

Our mother, Dolores, was one of the most generous, loving, kind, and funny women to ever walk this earth and our family was blessed to have her. Dolores was born Dec. 20th, 1954 in Salinas, CA, and grew up with her siblings and loving parents in Soledad, CA. After graduating from Gonzales High, she attended Cal Poly SLO and met her husband, Rene. After graduating, the two moved to Salinas, CA, and Dolores went on to pursue a career as an Elementary teacher where she spent a total of 37 years working for the Soledad school district. She was commendable in her profession and loved each student like her own. 

Dolores and Rene went on to have three beautiful children. She was a wonderful and caring mother who gave her all to her family. She loved quilting, crafts, baking, teaching, being with her grandkids, and laughing with her family. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her. 

Please Join us for the Viewing starting 1pm and Rosary at 3:30 on March 17th at Healey Mortuary, 405 N Sanborn Rd, Salinas, CA 93905. Mass and Memorial Service will be held at Madonna Del Sasso Church at 11am March 18th, 320 E Laurel Dr, Salinas, CA 93906. And Burial and Reception will follow.
