Obituary of Dannie Leonard Schriver

Dannie Leonard Schriver, 78, of Salinas, passed away Thursday, December 8th 2022. He was born and raised in Salinas, where he lived until adulthood, and for the last 20 years enjoyed living part time in his dream vacation home, located in Oakhursts, CA.

Dannie was employed by Pacific Bell and continued with AT&T (after the merge) for over 20 years. He continued to take Business and Technology classes at Hartnell College so that he was able to retire from AT&T and start Telephonics, as both owner and operator, for several more very successful years.

Dannie had many interests through the years. He enjoyed staying fit and earned a black belt in Karate. He also loved sailing, golf and spending time off with his friends and family. His close friends know he loved a few good hands of poker, especially over the yearly family weekend gathering at his home in Oakhurst, where he provided home cooked breakfast in the mornings.

He is survived by his only daughter Danelle Schriver Milazzo, his brothers; Carl Schriver of Kalispell, MT, Bill Schriver of Salinas, and his sister, Joanna Reynolds of Modesto. He is also survived by his grandchild, Gavin Charles Milazzo and numerous nieces and nephews.
