Obituary of Glorioso B. Vasaya

Glorioso Buscato Vasaya passed away peacefully at home on January 25, 2022. He was born in the Philippines October 14,1935 to Pacifico Vasaya and Maria Buscato. He was raised in the Phillipines and studied in Cebu. He migrated to the U.S. in 1991. For 18 years, he worked in Secondo Farms as a field irrigator.

Glorioso loved to dance and everyone knew him as a great ballroom dancer. He was a very devoted and loving father, grandfather and uncle.

Glorioso was preceded in death by brothers Dioscoro, Arturo and Serafin, and sister Felina.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Simeona Suelto Vasaya; son, Solano Vasaya and his wife Aileen; daughter Cecilia Vasaya and husband Ferdinand; and his sister, Berbina Vasaya Puntual. As well his grandchildren: Tyrone James, Patricia, Lance, Geraldine, Geoffrey, little Jerome; Nieces and nephews: Jeanette, Marybel, Leah, Josephine, Payche Rose, Urchino and Myryl Joe.

He will be deeply missed.

Visitation was held on Sunday, February 6, at Healey Mortuary. Burial was Monday, February 7, at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
