Obituary of Jeffrey L. Schlapfer

Jeff passed away in the early morning on Tuesday April 21, 2020 following a relatively short illness.

He is survived by his brother Mike (Josie) and his sisters Patty (John) and Cindy (Pete), several uncles and numerous nieces and nephews as well as all of his friends at the Salinas Elks Lodge.

Jeff will be laid to rest at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Salinas.

The Covid-19 crisis prompts the family to delay any immediate services for Jeff but in the meantime please say a prayer for him.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date.

Heaven has called upon you today,

leaving so many words left to say.

But now it's too late, for your time has come.

Words unspoken - I am sure everybody has some.

Regrets and wishes are probably there too, but lasting forever are memories of you.

I was there when you needed a place to stay, just like you would be there for me night or day.

There have been many times that we disagreed, but we were there for each other in time of need.

Now it's time for me to say goodbye,

until we meet again in heaven to fly.
